Are you a bit like Lisa Simpson at heart, and always dreamt of having a pony? Sega Toys has made your dreams almost come true with Dream Pony, a 1.2 metre tall toy pony planned for release by the end of the year. You can stroke its neck, and in return the pony’s head will shake in appreciation of your pampering. You can sit on its back if you weigh less than 80lbs/36kg, but sadly the pony is not taking you anywhere as its legs don’t move. Sega plan to ship 10,000 of Dream Pony per year at a 68,000 yen ($578/£307). Did I forget to say you get a plastic carrot too for that amount of cash?
