FP code

QR codes, recently mentioned in this post, look like they’re to be superseeded. Fujitsu has developed the FP (Fine Picture) code, which allows a barcode to be integrated with any picture. This works by placing a series of faint yellow lines over the original image during printing. Due to the nature of the process, the lines are almost indetectable by the human eye. Scanning the code works pretty much the same as QR codes; using the camera on your mobile phone. After you’ve scanned the image, you’ll be taken to the relevant website, related to what you’ve scanned.
