Were you so tired of turning the pages of a book that you got into e-books to save you the bother? But now the glare of the screen is making your eyes go crazy? Not to fear, as Nishizawa Japan has introduced the Book Time 5000; a machine about the size of a 21″ television. Simply place a book in the machine, and the pages will turn automatically by pressing a button. If pressing a button is still too much hassle, there’s an auto-mode for turning pages if you know how long each page is taking you to read. Costing 349,650 yen ($3000/£1583), the Book Time 5000 is said to be convenient for the oldies to use in public libraries.
