Nissan are once again integrating new technology into their cars. Carwings is a new navigation system allowing subscribers to hear a limited amount of RSS feeds while driving. Some of these feeds are from Yahoo! Japan, Sony’s So-net lifestyle blog and Nissan Drive Navi (a Nissan travel guide blog). Drivers select the sites they want while parked, then once mobile the system automatically retrieves the requested information to read out in the usual robotic voice. Exclusive to Japan, the system will be on display at the Ceatec (Combined Exhibition of Advanced Technologies) exhibition from 3rd - 7th October at Makuhari Messe.
