14,718 people set tea-drinking world record

Today, a new world record has been set for the most people drinking maccha green tea at the same time. In the city of Nishio, 14,718 contenders sat in pairs, facing each other along a 1.5km red mat. This beats the previous record from the United States of 7,250 people.
