“Gold! Always believe in your soul. You’ve got the power to know you’re indestructible. Always believe in….!” Yup, that’s the accompanying song to my made up advert for Thanko’s new gold ingot USB hub. Nothing like plugging 8 USB 2.0 devices into a bar of gold. Costing ¥5,980 ($52/£27), and containing no actual gold, the bar still weighs 2.4kg to make it that little bit more realistic.

    Nice. I like that they kept the weight hefty. Is there a silver version a little bit cheaper?
