Eiffel Tower made out of bread

A new branch of Donq, a popular French bakery which has been around for 101 years, just opened in the Toyohira-ku district in Sapporo. To promote the opening, 56-year-old baker Koichi Ezaki produced a 120 cm version of the Eiffel Tower, using small pieces of bread. He spent five days creating the tower, which is freestanding and covered in a protective varnish to prevent parts falling off. A company representative said, “Come and enjoy some French bread while looking at the tower”.
