USB drives are getting crazier, and sometimes I wonder how the ideas first came about. The Firefly Squid drive was the product of Toyama University’s Professor Ryozo Takeyama, who dreamt up the idea while thinking about a cuttlefish and his mobile phone’s glowing antenna. Weirdo! The Firefly Squid drive has 512MB of memory, and costs 5,980 yen ($51/£26) from Solid Alliance.
