Virtual realtime makeup system

Mitsukoshi, Shiseido, and Fujitsu, have teamed up to create a virtual real time make-up system for department stores. The system works by standing in front of a camera that captures an image of your face. That lovely image is then displayed on an LCD monitor where you can then scan electronic tags of various Shiseido cosmetics. Your on-screen face then changes to reflect what you may look like if it was made-up with the chosen cosmetic. You can even do a “before and after” comparison of the two. The companies are conducting a trial in the Mitsukoshi department store in Ginza until 12th February.
