At 114-years-old, Yone Minagawa, takes on the role of the world’s oldest living person, after Emma Faust Tillman, who was also 114, died on Sunday. Staff at the Keiju nursing home in Fukuoka claim that she has lived through a total of four Japanese emperors. Yone now joins the world’s oldest living man, who is also Japanese, the 111-year-old Tomoji Tanabe.
