Kelly Osbourne's Turning Japanese

Kelly Osbourne’s new TV series, “Turning Japanese”, starts on ITV2 in the UK this Thursday at 9pm. From the listing:

“Kelly Osbourne loves shopping in Japan, but will her working holiday leave her dying to stay or longing to leave? Her first raft of jobs include managing a Tokyo Love Hotel, training with the Samurai and waitressing in a very strange cafe.”

UK newspaper, The Sun, also spoke to Kelly about the show.

“In public toilets you don’t have to touch anything. A machine gives loo roll and makes birdie noises so you can’t hear the person next door break wind. It spoils the fun!”

Hmm, I would say that is the fun, but anyway. The programme is repeated on Sunday at 10pm if you miss it.

I think japan should kick Kelly out!
As if shes a fan of japan..she knows sh*t all about japan and this TV program offends Japanese and certainly helps mis-educate the masses about Japan. This is more a program about kelly and some western attitude’s than learning anything about japan or even turning Japanese…as if! They could of learnt so much more… missed opportunity.

    I think kelly is great!
She shows that for people that dont know the japanese lang that its really hard to live there! I have wanted to move there thinking that it couldnt be that hard but with the show you see how hard it really is….. and even though she has a guide its still not simple. Kelly in no way offends the japanese. she laughs but who wouldnt not know exactly what is happening. this show was great and makes me want to go even more!!!!

  8. skinny Says:

I think this program is ok, it shows both the prominent ancient side and kinky modern side of nowadays Japan. But one I don’t like about in this program is kelly. she didn’t shows any maturity and quality as a foreigner who –as it told– eager to embrace alien culture and society.
all she do is complaining, whining and spoil everything. she is so uncool.

  9. Ink_LuvR Says:

Kay the show isn’t about showing contrasts between the U.S. and Japan or showing how Japan functions, No; it’s about entertainment, Kelly even says she doesn’t mean to offend anyone but she’s uncomfortable, anybody would be like that is they were too.
So stop complaining, if you don’t like the show, don’t watch it, simple as that!
    jeez ppl difficult much.
