Cherry blossoms out in Tokyo already

Cherry blossom season looks like it’s going to hit Tokyo a month earlier than usual, as the Sakura in Ueno Park have begun to blossom already. This is apparently down to the unusually warm winter in Tokyo this year; the city is experiencing temperatures 2-4 degrees warmer than the norm for this time of year.
